Thank you Isy!

A heartfelt thank you to Isobell Derrick who has retired from her treasurer role on the Committee. Her time and efforts were greatly appreciated by all from the committee and the wider community. If you have enjoyed the hall in recent years be sure to thank Isy next time you see her.

Thank you,

Mount Eccles Mechanical Institute Committee

Oktoberfest, 2015

I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone involved in the organising and running of the Mount Eccles Oktober Fest.

I could not single out anyone to thank as everyone worked together as a great team and I did not have to ask anyone to do anything because it was already being done and if someone needed a hand to do something there was always someone to help without even asking.

It was this type of group effort that made the event a success and I feel that we should hold another one next year as we could do a few more things as this year was a bit of a learning curve.

Once again many thanks.

President Jim

Mount Eccles Funded for Mobile Tower

As reported on 25th of June, Mount Eccles has been funded under the federal governments blackspot program to improve coverage in round 1.

The following has further information on the upgrade.

It is this writers hope that the same tower could be used for a nbn wireless extension from the Ruby tower which has been recently switched on. Some properties south of Mount Eccles may be interested to check with nbnco if their property can get reception from the Ruby tower. For more information see www.nbnco.com.au
